Ice Skating

Our doors open 10 minutes before each session begins. If you wish to rent skates or skate aids you are able to do this when booking your public skate session. 

Skate aids are rented on a first come first serve basis, we will do our best to accommodate where we can but please be sure to book and pay for one in advance to guarantee your aid.

Patch Session

Patch sessions are available throughout the week to book in advance. Skaters will need to be level 8 and will need to bring their own skates.

Ice Skates Hire

Skate hire is available for all public sessions. We have skates available from child size 5 to adults size 14. Skate hire is charged at £2.10 in addition to your general admission ticket and must be purchased at the same time as a general admission ticket.

We do advise wearing thick socks to avoid any issues whilst wearing the skates.

Ice Skates Aids

A skate aid can be a great way for children to gain confidence on the ice and learn the initial skating movements.

Skate Aids can be hired for the session for £5.20 and are sold on a first come first served basis.

Our skate aids are strictly for children aged 14 and under. Penguins are suitable for children under 120cm and Snowmen for children under 14 but taller than 120cm.

Please note, skate aids are not available for disco skate sessions.

Spectator Tickets

Only Spectators for children under 10 will be allowed to access the ice rink.

Accessible Ice Skating Sessions

Our session is over two hours and is open to everyone with an impairment, disability as well as their carers and or families.

Our team will be there to assist you on the ice and provide advice re getting onto the ice. The session will feature skating aids and an instructor (depending on availability). Although there isn’t a sectioned off area of the ice for the session, our team will ensure other members of the public are aware of the people on the ice during this time.

Concession Membership and Tickets

Concession memberships are available to those aged 66+ or under 17. To purchase these memberships please contact the site team and provide proof of age and address.

Bonus prices are available for those living in OX1-OX4 based upon eligibility. Beneficiary must meet at least one of the following criteria and be able to produce evidence dated within the last 3 months and proof of address.
