Public Skate Sessions

Skating at Oxford Ice Rink is suitable for all ages. Our public sessions are open for all ages as is our Skate School. Whether you are looking for a fun day out with the family, or want to take up a new skill such a Figure Skating or Ice Hockey then look no further - Oxford Ice Rink is the place for you!

There are general sessions every day of the week and with morning, afternoon and evenings sessions there is always a good time to visit. You can also hire the ice for a Big Day Ice Party for your child's special occasion. Keep an eye out for the Ice Disco sessions which are also extremely popular.

Skate Tots

Our 30-minute session aims to get your little one confident on the ice. We’ll section off an area of the ice for the class and fill it with toys and fun to get you both gliding across the ice!

When the class is over, you’ll be able to stay on the ice for the remainder of the public session to practice your skills.

Our sessions are held by BIS qualified instructor.

Children must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian when on the ice. Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of the session to get your skates on.

Skating Parties

Our parties entitle you to 30 mins of private ice rink hire with a host. We’ll provide penguin skating aids, ice hockey sticks, sledges and other toys for the party. As well as your party of up to 10 children,5 adults can also skate during the party. After you party, your group can all stay on for the following public session.

Concession Membership and Tickets

Concession memberships are available to those aged 66+ or under 17. To purchase these memberships please contact the site team and provide proof of age and address.

Bonus prices are available for those living in OX1-OX4 based upon eligibility. Beneficiary must meet at least one of the following criteria and be able to produce evidence dated within the last 3 months and proof of address.
