We have a fantastic lido 35 metre outdoor pool, which is seasonal from April to September. With a shallow fun area for children, a deeper section for more serious lane swimmers and a beach area for infants - a day out at Hinksey Heated Outdoor Pool really is a swimmer's dream.

SEN Family Swim
Dive into a calm and comforting environment at Hinksey Outdoor Pool.
We're excited to introduce our brand-new SEN Family Swim Sessions - a welcoming, relaxed session designed especially for families with SEN.
These sessions have been designed to create a sensory-friendly environment with no music and lowered communication to keep things calm (think quieter walkie talkies).
We advise bringing along any additional aids or comfort items you'd like - as long as they are sae to wear in the water. Whether it's their favourite floatie, a beloved swim hat or anything else that helps you to feel at ease. These sessions have been designed to make you feel happy and comfortable.
Session information:
- Wednesday 10am - 12pm
- Sessions are running from 23rd July - 27th August
- Sessions must be booked in advance
